I decided I'd review both here... because it's not hard to do. This was just fucking solid, all the way around. Glad to see something so absurdly original and entertaining from the cubs fan in church (I swear... I've seen it happen)... to the pop-up video parody... to bonzo... to Reagan... of all people... Reagan. Great job!
oh dear....
Classic... people really making asses of themselves to hilarious circus music (it's not really circus music... but close enough, damn it) and incredible animation. Kick ass, dude.
hilarious
but... please do something about the ending. I gave you 10s regardless because it was just that bad ass... but the ending was sort of iffy.
Damn it
This is an awesome concept (it seems so much more interesting than a lot of the other fantasy submissions)... but I'm going to say that other reviewers are right: you're not up to this level yet. First - DO NOT just end the music like you did... fade it, work on art dirtection, get the artwork to be a little more sophisticated. What you did is great for a starter... but god help you if you try to make something this serious (and conceptually bad ass) at this level... I'm willing to bet you'll get the living shit blammed out of it and it won't do your effort (which is obviously there) the justice you deserve. But seriously, godo job on this and good luck.
meh
8-bit images weren't made for "impressive" fight scenes... and this just sort of proved that. It's not impressive, kind of like "nintendo does the matrix", but it wasn't bad. The sound quality was excellent though... though I'd have liked it if instead of having to read the whole basis of the fight you could have thrown in a narrator... or possibly just gotten to the point and had the characters talk while bashing each other's pixelated brains in. But... not bad.
Definitely worth a watch
This was awesome on every point but one (which I'll get to momentarily). The music was great, the graphics were solid (not as in: "my god! did disney do this?" but they really fit the mood... a comical animation). You did great sticking to the chaplin silent-film style, and I commend you for that because it's not very easy to make an animation like that amusing.
My only problem: It's "feminism" dude. Not "Femenism".
I'm a prick... I know... but I'm giving this a 5 because i really did like that much.
Definitely not turd of the week
I liked this... but really would have liked there to be sound. Music, if nothing else. However, the humor was dead on, the animation was better than "just okay" (not terrific, but who the fuck cares? you did good). I don't agree with others that you need a detailed story... it's clear this is comic-strip style animation, and comic strips usually don't last the duration of an entire story, so there's no point in me trying to criticize you for that. Plus... it's one thing to have an entire plot line... it's another to make it good. (Thank god this wasn't based on some god damned rpg forum)
I'm voting this at a 3 because it wasn't crunk but it beats a lot of the shit getting posted these days. Overall: good job, man.
Pretty Good
I wish there had been a little bit more going on (like animated figures)... however, the voice acting was hilarious, and the sound quality of the music was top-notch. You said this didn't take you very long to do, and unfortunately it kind of showed that, but hell I still thought it was funny and well done.
Holy shit, dude
HOW IN THE BLUE FUCK IS TTA GETTING SO MUCH ATTENTION WITH THIS OUT!? sorry... I'm just... I'm unleashing the rage because this was bloody, senseless, and fucking incredible. The art work, direction, sound.... everything was fucking flawless. Kick ass dude, you are the shit. givin' this a five, hands down.
