YES!

Been a lot of crap today... especially with those TTA. This was definitely a shining moment. Great animation, and wonderful job on the sound. short and to the point and damn it I'm in no mood to argue with that. Well done!

YOU BLEW IT!

almost... almost... worth something... but that fight made me think of the puppets from Team America... meaning that it didn't look like a fight. It looked like you moving them around a grid. Oh... the excitement. (said that with a monotone)

Sound effects were a total bomb. Ick... what a headache.

What the hell dudes...

I am really torn on this one. For starters, at the least I'm going to say you did quite a good job with the animation process... including ripping other, pre-existing characters already internationally renowned in ways I'm not sure you'll ever be... but I'm going to skip that little beginning of an insult and just say: substance. Life and death will not ever (provided there iis a just and loving god which is already called into question based on this being put out) hinge on the chat-lives of a group of 12-15 year old kids. Just because you think an experience is vivid doesn't make it analogous to every-day life, nor does it create a situation in which I think any normal person is going to feel as though they have just emoted... short of anger and hatred for chat forums around the globe filled with people whose biggest struggle in life is getting rid of spammers.

This is not getting blammed for animation or sound... this is getting blammed for being utterly pointless. You are the Kevin Costner of NG my friend... spending a lot of time on something that is bound to amount to nothing everyone else... and this is your waterworld. *sigh*... just cause it looks pretty don't make it worth a damn.

Long but worth it

I was really impressed by this... usually a piece this long just sort of falls apart but you held your ground and made a really solid piece. The best drawing in it all was Eggman, and I love the crack "Robotnik?" because... damn it... where the hell did they get "eggman" from!? Overall this was just really well done and I have to say to you, dude: Kick. Ass.

The Paradigm

Everything about this is perfect... down to the song choice. This is the paradigm as far as flash animation music videos with some of the best direction and synchronization I have ever seen. Legendary, I tell you. Fucking legendary.

Thank you!

Easy to navigate, straight forward instructions with multi-faceted instructions to help... and the little tid-bit at the end about working to make things better is much appreciated. There is nothing here you can't like!

Sneakers responds:

Making the tutorial allowed me to experiment with layouts, and simple animations. I wanted it to be clean and uncluttered, so I made sure there was ample room for the text and the animation....I had a few ideas for the design. And the word for thought at the end..well...I see alot of hopefuls out there get attacked, saying their work is crap.

An excellent concept

You're right - this was an excellent concept, and considering it was one of your "firstest flashes" I can hardly be one to judge because you did an excellent job. The characters were very well detailed, my only wish is that everything else around them was the same. But regardless, well done!

I gave it a 10 because I'm laughing at you

You've gotten a lot of crap from other people on this point, and damn it I'm going to do the same thing... because if you're going to use someone else's song, you might want to get a clue as to who wrote the damn song... AND IT SURE AS SHIT WASN'T NIRVANA. STP... man... god damn you kids these days. Anyway... while I'm sure most would think it safe to assume that all grunge/rock of the nineties was referring to alcoholism and heroin the fact that that was the best you could come up with for a concept in this video was pretty lame. On all levels, man... BLAM. (btw-... you got a 1 on sound because it's a good song... which you couldn't help because obviously you didn't do it)

Hmmm...

Overall, I won't knock this because it was just simply a well done effort. However, the sound needed some serious improvement, the flash could have been a little more engaging (as opposed to the amount of still iamges fading here and panning there... the music isn't my dish but meh... i just felt like the direction could have been a little tighter. Instrumentals work better with voice overs anyway. Try ripping the vocals from it and then fading them in once the narrator is done. Finally: invest in LogicExpress or garageband or some sort of recording/mastering software and a better mic. Either you were too close or something because breathing alone seemed to overdrive the mic. Like I said, though, this wasn't at all blammable because it was in the end still a very solid piece.

Not very good at all

Not only were the dialog boxes pretty obnoxious, they weren't good considering this toon had very little (if anything at all) worth saying. The music wasn't yours, the drawing was pretty blah, and seemed more like you relied on just being random as opposed to actually thinking through a joke. Granted... pancakes can be funny... but this just wasn't. I give this a blam.

M-Kudas responds:

Silly Noob, you can't blam me after I already have over a 3. average. Also learn how to use flash before I can respect your opinion, because right now your comments make zero sense. Thanks though, I will try to be more funny to your liking next time. ^_^
Oh and saying the sound is not mine and giving a low score because of that is a very stupid way of rating people, this is not the audio portal, it is the "flash portal".
